I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) where I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories - Ayurveda, gluten-free, Paleo, raw, vegan, macrobiotics, and everything in between.
What's unique about IIN is that it encourages a holistic view of health and wellness. Nutrition, meals, calories, all things food is important to overall health, however, physical activity, career, relationships, and spirituality are just as, if not more, important.
What is a Health Coach + What Does a Health Coach Do?
A Health Coach is a guide and a mentor who enables clients to clearly outline and achieve their health and wellness goals. Health coaches develop strategies and action plans or roadmaps that encourage behavioral changes in order for clients to navigate the realities of their wellness intentions. Health coaches work alongside other healthcare and medical practitioners to make recommendations for health-supportive behaviors, encouraging and adaptation toward wellness using a holistic approach to good health and well-being.
Opportunities are endless for Health Coaches to work in corporate wellness, 1-on-1 with clients looking to optimize health, product and food development, wellness education, and much more!
